No one likes to be nauseous. The thinking of getting sick or vomiting is not a pleasant thought. But, when the idea of vomiting becomes overwhelming enough to compel a human being to alter their lifestyles and eating habits, the condition may be more than just a reasonable dislike of throwing up. Emetophobia is the extreme fear of vomit and this irrational fear can lead to death in those who suffer from it.
An individual who fears vomit may fear the thought or actionof vomiting themselves, the thought or actionof others vomiting, or be afraid ofthe vomit itself. These patients suffer from intense amounts of anxiety as regards vomit in general. The difficulty with a phobia of this nature is the precursor to vomiting, eating.
Many those who suffer from emetophobia are diagnosed with anorexia way prior to the fear of vomiting is bring into being. The patients will try everything in orderto avoid vomiting and this includes the cessation of eating.

The Destructive Power of Negative Body Talk and How to Overcome It By Sarah Maria
How often do you look in the mirror and say to yourself:
"I'm so fat!"
"My butt is way too big."
"My thighs are flabby; I definitely should not be seen in a bathing suit."
"My hair is flat; why can't I have hair like hers?"
"My nose is too large. I wonder how much plastic surgery costs?"
How do you feel when you have these Negative Body Thoughts? Inadequate, worthless, like a failure? Every time you engage in Negative Body Thoughts, you reinforce a sense of not being good enough.
Negative Body Thoughts can also be aimed at others. When you meet other people, do you ever think:
"She's thinner than I am, so she is more successful and more beautiful."
"She should exercise more; I bet she doesn't belong to a gym."
"I have a smaller waist-line than she does, so I am slightly better."
We constantly and chronically compare ourselves to other women, sizing up our self-worth by our relative body size.
This Negative Body Talk is particularly cruel and hurtful among children, teens, and adolescents. Young

Mothers and Daughters all over the world experience the same thing that my mother and I experienced
Of course in relationships there are arguments, fights, bickering and the occasional name calling...nothing is perfect
But my mom and I had a fight that lasted for 6 years!
We had the normal every day fights about who to date, when to date, jobs, money, etc
But we had the not so normal fights too...
I felt like I had to live up to a certain expectation and if I didn't then I was disciplined
And because of those fights and the feelings that resulted from them, I had a lot of anger and resentment built up which made me think that I hated my mom
I KNOW that there are other moms and daughters out there that are going through the same thing that my mom and I went through
But guess what....there is good news!
You can move past it!
It's all about taking that first step...
It is definitely the hardest thing to do...but it is so worth it!
Taking that first step opens up a whole new door of possibilities that you can create for your life
So I encourage you, if you are going through
